Mission Command Systems Training

Blackhawk instructors conduct sustainment training for command post cell personnel in the use of the Mission Command Systems:

  • Tactical Mission Command (TMC)
  • Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS)
  • Distributed Common Ground System—Army (DCGS-A)
  • Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS)
  • Battle Command Sustainment and Support System (BCS3)
  • Force 21 Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2)

Command Post Cell Training

Command Post Cell Training facilitates staff interaction for both mission planning and current operations. By using mission command systems and scenarios, we prepare commanders and staffs for managing information during Full Spectrum Operations. The course enables commanders and staffs to employ mission command systems and processes in a command post.

Simulations and Exercise Support

Blackhawk trainers/coaches, scenario developers and systems analysts develop virtual military exercises for Battalion, Brigade, Division, Corps and Joint Forces exercises. Our technical integrators and instructors support various exercises to include Staff Exercise (STAFFEX), Command Post Exercise (CPX) Mission Readiness/Rehearsal Exercise (MRX/MRE) and Battle Command System of System Integration Training (BCSoSIT) Event III. Systems used for training include:

  • Corps Battle Simulator (CBS)
  • Command, Control, and Communications (C-3) Driver
  • Battle Command Staff Trainer (BCST)
  • Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS)
  • SIMC4I Interchange Module for Plans, Logistics and Exercises (SIMPLE)
  • Virtual Battle Space 2 (VBS2)
  • Urban Sim
  • One Semi Automated Forces (OneSAF) and Warfighters Simulation (WarSim) were integrated and tested for future exercises
