Join The BLACKHAWK TeamNETWORK DEFENSE HBSS SECURITY ENGINEER BLACKHAWK Management Corporation is seeking Net Defense HBSS Security Engineers who possess McAfee Host Based Security System specific skill set requirement. The HBSS engineers shall be responsible for Theater Architecture, Management, and execution of all host based Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense Controls, as part of the DISA lead SCRI (Secure Configuration Remediation Initiative, and JTF-GNO or ACERT guidance. Successful execution will include management of (HIPS) Host Intrusion Prevention Systems (HIPS) via HBSS, McAfee Anti Virus (AV), Rouge Asset detection (AV), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Net Defense HBSS Security Engineers duties include: Implement and configure software and appliance-based products within the Afghanistan Theater Architecture. Work within CJOA-A to develop and implement effective network, product, and application solutions. Evaluate, design, advise, implement, and integrate products and controls into various platforms, network devices, and systems. Perform knowledge transfers and training clients regarding security awareness. Conduct network security assessments. Maintain security monitoring and reporting appliances; leading and analyzing security reporting. Maintain knowledge of and communicating changes in security regulations, best practices, countermeasures, compliance, and threats. Prepare technical designs as well as high-level flowcharts and schematics. Troubleshoot and resolving network issues. Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Specialized Experience: E-policy Orchestrator (EPO), Host Intrusion Prevention Systems (HIPS), via HBSS, McAfee Anti Virus (AV), Rouge Asset detection (RA), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation. System administration experience on any of the following platforms (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, HP-UX, AIX, Sun Solaris, Novell, etc.). An understanding of a wide array of server grade applications to include Lotus Notes, Exchange, DNS, SMTP, IIS, Apache, SharePoint, Active Directory, Identity Management, Patch Management, LDAP, SQL. Experience with McAfee HBSS, security products (ePO, VirusScan, Host Intrusion Prevention, IntruShield, Secure Web and Email Gateways, Policy Auditor, and Foundstone). Certification Level: Microsoft MCSE, SANS Institute GCED, GSEC, GCWN, GISP, CISSP, Any Cisco Professional or Associate Level certification preferred.
