Join The BLACKHAWK TeamNETWORK DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE ANALYST BLACKHAWK Management Corporation is seeking two Net Defense Intel Analyst to serve as Cyber Threat Analysis Center (CTAC) focal point for all Computer Network Operations stakeholders, in the USFOR-A CJOA and to engage with ACERT, NSA, DIA, CID, JTG-GNO, and all other Intel agencies to address and continually monitory the Cyber threat against the Theater. The Analyst shall fuse IA-CND threat information and intelligence to provide predictive warning, threat analysis, and course of action recommendations, in support of current and long-term network defense/defensive information operations, network security engineering and collaboration with the information operations community of interest. Net Defense Intel Analyst duties include: Provide expert IA-CND advice and expertise to USFOR-A in support of incident handling, course of action development and related IA-CND response actions. Assess IA-CND events for operational impact to TIG, coordinate and develop response COAs and direct actions at the tier 1 and tier 2. Fuse cyberspace threat intelligence in support of theater IA-CND operations in order to monitor and direct network surveillance resources. Provide theater IA-CND situational awareness. Provide current Intelligence Analysis through analysis and fusion. Develop and manage a theater intelligence targeting and collection plan; conduct and manage intelligence collection through requests for information and support from organizations and agencies. Conduct intelligence collection through use of intelligence and law enforcement community products, databases, websites, and tools; commercial/open source products, databases, websites, and tools; locally generated databases, websites, and tools; and any other relevant source of information and intelligence. Fuse, correlate, and analyze information and intelligence to provide indications and warnings of pending, possible or actual attack or compromise to the Theater Information Grid or systems within the CJOA-A. Disseminate information and intelligence to decision makers, the IA-CND community, the NETOPS community, and the information operations community in order to assist in planning, operations, and intelligence activities. Coordinate and/or de-conflict IA-CND activities and intelligence with appropriate law enforcement, counter intelligence, information operations, intelligence, and computer network defense organizations in order to synchronize network defensive and response operations. Support IA-CND planning, current operations, and security engineering activities of the IA Branch and leadership. Supervise production of intelligence reports and products to support situational awareness, planning, operations and response actions, to include: Cyberspace/IA-CND Intelligence Summary (daily), Detailed Threat/Capability Intelligence Reports (based on specified topics), Theater Threat Reports, Theater IA-CND Posture Summaries, Network Damage Assessments after enemy attacks and penetrations, Attack TTP and Trend Reporting (monthly/quarterly and as required). Provide assessments of attacks and attempts against theater networks and possible mitigation actions. Coordinate and recommend courses of action in response to incidents/events based on related intelligence to mitigate/eliminate threats and attacks. Direct and/or recommend changes to network surveillance resources based on intelligence indications and warnings. Lead/conduct theater collaboration for IA-CND planning and operations including, but not limited to email, chat, ticketing and collaboration session communications. Develop and implement a training program to maintain the knowledge, skills, and abilities of IA-CND Intelligence Analysts and ensure familiarity/adherence to IA-CND TTP/SOPs. Serve as an Action Officer; Operational Planning Team Member; or lead/supporting member for operational and/or planning tasks assigned to the IA-CND Branch as required; respond to Joint Staff and USCENTCOM taskers and RFIs as required (with Government approval). Produce intelligence reports and products to support situational awareness, planning, operations and response actions, to include but not limited to: Network Damage Assessments after enemy attacks and penetrations. Recommend technology upgrades and changes based on intelligence indications and warnings to mitigate/eliminate threats and attacks. Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Specialized Certification and Experience: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required. Cyber Intel working experience with the ability to translate traditional Intelligence reporting into cyber threat alerting.
