Join The BLACKHAWK TeamMICROWAVE LINE OF SIGHT ENGINEER (SME) BLACKHAWK Management Corporation is seeking two (2) SME MLoS Engineers who will work closely with KABUL NOC, JNCC project managers and net operations. MLoS Engineers duties include: Open, Follow-up, and close trouble tickets with vendors (Kabul NOC and or TCDA NOC) and in JNCC net ops log for CJOA. Provide sites with updates during outages of links according to TTPs. Log of all vendor commercial vendors' trouble tickets for monthly reporting. Provide commercial provider trend analysis of systems in place. Coordinate between sites for RC-East, RC-South, and the CJOA-A for trouble shooting repairs and new installs. Provide vendor with badge paperwork (BAF) and assist with site procedures for escort duties as well as perform escort duties locally when needed. Provide coordination for between sites and the MLoS companies for access to sites. Process the paper work through Force Protection as needed. Participate in the all meetings in regards to MLoS contracts, services, etc. Provide paper work for AFUB & IFUB, Land management, Base operations as needed for any new installations or changes required for current sites. Assist, coordinate, and track all site surveys. Provide customer feedback to commercial companies as needed or required. Track projects in conjunction with Program Manager from conception to completion. Assist with getting quotes from commercial companies for upgrades, changes for existing service and new site installations. Provide technical solutions for installation, upgrades and changes to Project Manager. Physically assist with tracking of projects with Project manager until complete. Provide all technical requirements to sites prior to installation. Keep the JNCC net operations and JNCC project manager informed at all times. Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Specialized Experience: Must have at least 6-8 years of back ground experience in LOS systems and engineering. Experience with the military and commercial systems. Intermediate knowledge of frequency. Must have expert knowledge on MloS systems, to include modems, switches, MW systems, (military and commercial) cabling, electrical, cooling, rigging, network operations and security. Must be familiar with SNMPC and Solar Winds Software. Have the ability and knowledge to troubleshoot links and connectivity. Configure and test MW (MLoS) modems. Conduct loop backs to the JNCC Net Ops and the Commercial NOCs. Build and test cables. Test and configure Cisco switches. Provide technical assistance when needed.
