Join The BLACKHAWK TeamENTERPRISE SERVICES STORAGE AREA NETWORKING ENGINEER BLACKHAWK Management Corporation is seeking a Storage Area Networking Engineer who will serve as Theater Subject Matter Expert and maintenance support engineer for all Storage Area Networking requirements in the CJOA. The Theater SME shall manage, monitor and maintain situational awareness of all Storage Area Networking systems and projects under the responsibility of the USFOR-A CJOA. Storage Area Networking Engineer duties include: Assist with root cause analysis and problem management. Present solutions to identified problems and recommendations to improve SAN health. Communicate status and issues in a clear and concise manner. Proactively monitor storage health and capacity across multiple Data Centers installations. Configure and provision new storage for both new and existing frames. Provide Operational File Systems and Volume Management Support. Assist with disaster recovery planning and design. Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Specialized Certification: EMC Certification desired; NetApp Certification desired. Specialized Experience: Experience designing and implementing storage solutions in a large enterprise environment including: high performance and available SAN, NAS, CAS, and Archive/VTL tiered storage systems. Experience in several different forms of replication including: Celerra replication, SRDF, BCV, and Centera replication. In-depth engineering-level understanding of EMC DMX-4 Clariion and/or NetApp RAID arrays, Cisco and Brocade switches, and associated management and provisioning software. Able to plan, design, implements, and maintain: Brocade Director Fiber Channel Transport Networks, EMC Storage (block and file level), EMC Control Center, EMC Recoverpoint, NetApp Operations Manager.
