Join The BLACKHAWK TeamComputer Based Trainer (CBT) Specialist/Instructor II Job Description: Primary duties include execution of the development of a Program of Instruction that results in scenario based lesson plans IAW Army Regulations based on a detailed front-end training needs analysis. Training packages developed will address individual, collective, and unit level mounted movement and maneuver techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs). Upon completion of training development, will execute training sessions and develop the criteria for successful completion by trained personnel. Will utilize DARWARS Ambush, Virtual Battle Simulation II (VBS II), and other emerging gaming technologies to conduct training in a virtual environment. In addition, will integrate Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Blue Force Tracker (BFT), Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), and supporting tactical and simulation technoliges to enhance training. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet training requirements and keep collective and individual training courses abreast of emerging technology and emerging TTPs. Evaluates training materials, procedures and makes or recommends revisions to keep the training abreast of software, hardware, and emerging doctrine. Completely well versed in Military Decision Making Process (MDMP). Provides council to young officers and noncommissioned officers. Will be cross-trained to support simulation driven consructive exercises and provide classroom ABCS instruction as required. Understanding of the Army Battle Command System (ABCS) is desired.
